BOGSIDE FARM

Welcome to Bogside Farm! We are Gibson and Sarah, and together with our three young children and three black Labradors, we run Bogside Farm, our 100 acre farm in the heart of Aberdeenshire. We bought the farm in December 2020 and have been busy ever since!

Gibson's background in engineering and Sarah's career as vet have shaped how we approach farming - combining practical thinking with a strong focus on animal health and welfare.

Our farm is home to a flock of 120 ewes, a small herd of breeding cows, outdoor-reared pigs, free-range chickens, and honeybees. We raise traditional breeds on pasture, aiming for a natural, sustainable system that respects both the animals and the land. In summer 2025 we began our organic conversion, building on our commitment to regenerative, low-input farming.

We sell meat boxes, eggs and honey directly from the farm, and we have diversified to offer wool spinning courses. As an Ashford dealer, we also supply quality spinning, weaving and felting equipment for those who share our love of working with natural fibres.

At Bogside, our goal is simple - to produce good food and fibre, farm responsibly, and leave the land better than we found it.
